We use liquid Magic-0 and salt treated with Magic-0 for Anti-Icing and De-Icing.
Magic-0 is a highly effective liquid de-icing agent made from a blend of magnesium chloride combined with an agricultural by-product of the distilling process(i.e. grain and/or sugar based)
Note: Magic-0 is not salt brine
Magic-0 is applied using a truck mounted spray tank system with a spray bar located behind the truck. (sidewalks can also be sprayed and recommended)
When correctly applied prior to a snow or ice storm event, Magic-0prevents snow and ice from bonding to the pavement. Plowing removes all packed snow and ice. Black ice cannot form, as long as there is no major run off.
Magic-0 will not harm vehicles or any type of pavement and is envirornmentally much friendlier than traditional methods.
Magic-0 and salt treated with has a great residual effect, meaning a surface can be treated days before a storm and unless it rains the product will remain, also after a storm the effectiveness remains.

Can be on a per application base, no contract needed. Must be determined prior to event, can't call day of. We will spray residentials and sidewalks also. Remember with the residual effect it can be sprayed days before an anticipated event and last days after.
