MY PERSONAL POND AT MY RESIDENCE This particular pond varies in depth from about 16' at it's deepest then gradually shelfs up at different points to a shallowest point of about 4'. Different structure was added to allow for better fish habitat, from large stumps pressed into the bottom with an excavator and large rocks to a 45' tree with all it's branch structure left on cut down and laid into the pond. Now it's home to largemouth bass, bluegills, grass carp(keep it weed free) and a couple 2'+ japanese koi, not to mention turtles frogs, birds and everything else that strolls by for a drink. It's as close to a National Geograpic moment as you can get.

This is a natural pond located @ New Scotland Sales and Rentals 198 New Scotland South Road in Slingerlands. In the fall of 2008 we made changes to more naturalize the pond, this will be a public display water feature in the spring of 2009. We are adding a waterfall feature as well, visit back often as we post more pictures of the waterfall work in progress in thecoming spring weeks.We then encourage you to drive in and view it in person.
